Position Summary
As a CULTR fitness instructor you will entertain, motivate, and coach our HIIT and/or Strength Conditioning class participants. As a Performer you will assist our members by teaching good form, all while ensuring they get a great sweat and have fun.
Also, as a CULTR fitness instructor you will help our members achieve their fitness goals quicker and better through one-on-one personal training sessions. As a personal trainer and coach you will clarify our member's fitness goals, conduct appropriate assessments to establish a baseline, and structure a progressive plan to help them reach those goals.
While you won't be responsible for sales, you ARE part of the sales process in that you will regularly train new potential personal training clients and deliver the kind of goal-specific training that helps them better understand the value of personal training.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver entertaining, motivational, safe, educational, and professional classes and personal training sessions.
Be a performer and entertainer throughout the entire class, and a supportive mentor and coach throughout personal training sessions.
Meet daily class attendance goals and complete all administrative duties as required for this role
Conduct introductory personal training sessions (assessments) consistent with the brand's process and standards
Shows up early to make sure all classes and sessions are the best they can be
Be professional and diligent about calendar management (time-off requests done far in advance, scheduling client's next sessions, communication about changes with the front desk, etc.)
Be willing to spend time after class to mingle with existing members and guide prospective members back to the front desk.
Provides excellent customer service by promptly responding to member needs, concerns, and questions
Position Requirements
Nationally recognized certification in personal training (preferred but not required)
2+ years of HIIT and/or strength conditioning class experience
Positive attitude
Willing to work hard
Passionate about helping/coaching others

CULTR Fight Club is looking to bring on an enthusiastic, experienced Sales Manager. CULTR Fight Club is a high-energy, team-oriented fitness facility that offers boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu, MMA, Yoga, and fitness classes in Jersey CIty, NJ.
You're Right For This Role If:

You have 3+ years experience managing in the fitness industry or a service-based industry (Fitness Industry experience preferred)

Position Responsibilities:
Build a community within the team and membership base
Responsible for hitting monthly revenue goals
Major emphasis on member retention by creating an awesome and friendly club experience.
Hire, train and develop a strong operational team. This includes all departments, front desk, instructors, and janitorial.
Work closely with staff and coaches to ensure successful on-boarding of new members
Track membership and private training renewals
Clear understanding and enforcement of policies and procedures
Resolve member concerns and complaints in a professional manner
Monitoring club systems and employee performance with bi-monthly trainer meetings and evaluations
Ensure that systems procedures are accurately followed by front desk staff: proper POS procedure, desk set up, File Organization, Member Check-in, Class Check-in, Telephone Inquiry, Guest Registration, etc.
Supervise point-of-sales operations and file daily club revenue reports.
Responsible for proper inventory receiving and inventory control activities
Requirements:
Willing to take a major leadership role and have the ability to inspire staff.
Excellent communications skills. This includes having a friendly, outgoing, energetic and guest service-oriented demeanor. This is a VERY high-energy workplace, and we require that you understand how important the social aspect of a fitness club is.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and possesses a self-motivated work manner.
High level of integrity. This position requires someone that is team-oriented and willing to work above and beyond the job description
High level of time management skills to apply in a fast paced environment
Computer savvy
A passion or interest for the health and fitness industry
At least 3 years of management experience, Fitness Industry experience preferred

REQUIREMENTS:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute sales process of lead generation, follow up, and enrollment
Achieve membership sales goals and be responsible for hitting monthly revenue goals
Conduct studio tours while establishing a relationship, targeting individual’s needs, and wants
Present available services to current or prospective members
Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quota
Check in clients for sessions
Provide exceptional service to all new and existing members
Communicate with instructors about new prospects in class to create an exceptional first time experience
Execute sales and hospitality process of first time member experience, follow up, and close
Must be willing to clean and maintain the gym, mat area, bathrooms, equipment, etc.
